It all started when…

Annette met Melody in Detroit sometime in the mid-2000’s, playing in bands and doing shows together. They started Swamp Sisters as a novelty group to record Leader of the Wolf Pack for Bellyache Records’ Halloween compilation. That led to more writing and gigging.

To round out the sound, Kristin von B (vocals, guitar) and James Faulkner (drums) joined in 2011, and they became Betty Cooper.
Dave Malarsh plays drums on many tracks.

They make indie pop. Quiet, then loud.
